The peppermint angelfish (Centropyge boylei) has been sold for 30.000 euros, potentially making it the most expensive marine fish in the aquarium trade.

The lemon-striped pygmy hogfish (Bodianus bennetti) was only described in 2016 and only a few pictures exist of this unique wrasse.

The Abe's angelfish (Centropyge abei) is potentially even more rare than the peppermint angelfish, with only a few specimens ever caught alive. Only a single animal is visible in a public aquarium.
